High school students seeking early exposure to university-level studies can enroll in the University of Delaware Professional & Continuing Studies Pre-College Summer Programs. Located in Newark, DE, this program offers intensive academic training focused on STEM disciplines. Participants engage in hands-on experiences across subjects such as Autonomous Driving, Future Aviation (Drones), Forensic Science, and Neuroscience. Designed for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors, the program provides a college preparatory environment. Students have the option of overnight attendance. The Governor’s School for Excellence, a distinct one-week residential program, is also offered for academically and artistically talented Delaware high school students.
