Product Lab is a fast-paced STEM training in Sherman, TX, focusing on entrepreneurial product design. Participants will take product ideas for everyday problems and develop them into real products within a three-month timeframe. The class emphasizes a collaborative, creative, and interdisciplinary environment. Students will work individually or in teams to identify and pitch a product idea. They will then apply user-centric design and prototyping methods to create a viable product. The program includes developing a month-long funding campaign through methods like crowdfunding or box subscriptions, leading to rapid product development and release. Successful product ideas will receive hands-on mentorship over the summer for initial production. No prior business experience or coursework is required, and students from all disciplines are welcome. Instructor permission is necessary to enroll.
