Young equestrians ages 6-12 can develop riding skills and horse knowledge at Ponca Hills Farm in Omaha, NE. This day program emphasizes daily riding lessons, practical horse care, and grooming techniques. Participants build confidence through direct interaction with horses in a structured, small-group environment. Our curriculum focuses on fundamental horsemanship, ensuring each participant gains a solid foundation in equine interaction and safety. The program prioritizes skill development and responsible animal stewardship.

Each two week Beginner Riding Camp will consist of a daily riding lesson suited to the level of the rider, as well as a classroom activity covering basic horse knowledge and care. These sessions run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and are open to riders aged 8 - 12.
Learn more / RegisterThis one week camp is geared toward children 6 - 8 years old with little to no riding experience. It will center on grooming and gaining confidence around horses, with some riding on the lunge line or lead rope, running Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
