About this camp
The South Carolina Maritime Museum provides half-day youth sailing programs throughout June, July, and August in Georgetown, SC. Each program runs for 5 days, three hours daily. Beginning and intermediate sailors, ages 8-14, learn on Optimist Prams. Older participants, aged 12-18, receive instruction using 420s, which are two-person sailing dinghies. These programs focus on practical sailing skills in a structured day format.
