About this camp
Youth ages 7-11 can engage with nature through outdoor investigations and hands-on activities at this Sycamore, IL program. Nature Explorers Camp is a day program focusing on wildlife discovery and environmental learning. Participants learn about the natural world via games, experiments, and team challenges, guided by University of Illinois Extension 4-H Youth Development professionals and NREC staff. The program offers themed week-long sessions designed for concrete, experiential learning.

A 'school's out' day camp for youth to enjoy a variety of lessons and games in Russell Woods Forest Preserve, with activities varying each day. Campers will be separated into two age groups.
