About this camp
Music Works Iowa provides specialized summer music programs in Mount Vernon, IA. The Music Makers program offers 3rd-6th graders hands-on exploration in drumming, Irish fiddling, bell choir, and creative music. High school students and adults can enroll in the Music Theory Bootcamp to reinforce fundamental musical understanding and skills. For 3rd-6th graders, the Ukulele program focuses on learning chords, songs, rhythm, and songwriting techniques. Each program includes all necessary materials and a camp T-shirt. All music programs are led by experienced educators such as Julia Andrews, Nicole Philbrick, and Sophie Walker. Participants develop musical skills and understanding in a structured environment.
