About this camp
High school students interested in arts and media can attend LYNX National Arts & Media training in Denver, CO. This program, hosted on the University of Colorado Denver campus, provides an educational preview of college-level arts programs. Offerings include one-week commuter programs in 2D Animation/Illustration, Audio Production/Ableton Live, Comic Book Character Design, and Photography. Two-week options cover Music Industry (songwriting, performance, business, recording arts), Animation (2D, 3D, concept art, stop motion), Filmmaking, and Immersive Art. Two-week participants can choose residential lodging at CU Denver's City Heights Residence Hall with meals, Commuter Plus with evening/weekend activities and meals, or Commuter with weekday lunch. One-week programs run daily from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Upcoming sessions
Students will explore digital illustration, mixed media, and 2D Animation, using traditional and digital tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects to create original character illustrations and animation reels.
