Laurel Music Training (LMC) provides a focused music program for high school students aged 14-18 in Torrington, CT. Participants engage in daily rehearsals and performances across four primary ensembles: Concert Band, Orchestra, Choir, and Jazz Band. Seating assignments within these groups are determined via auditions held on the first day of the program. This overnight music program offers a structured environment for musical development. Housing is provided in platform tents at Camp Mattatuck, with each tent accommodating two campers. LMC also offers scholarships and financial aid to support student participation in this intensive music experience. Designed for students serious about music, Laurel Music Training emphasizes performance and ensemble skills.
