About this camp
Bayview Yacht Club Junior Sailors has been teaching safe boat handling, motivating young people ages 8-18 toward gaining confidence and competence in all phases of sailing, and promoting good fellowship since 1950. The program welcomes participants with instructors experienced in teaching small boat sailing, all US Sailing or World Sailing Level 1 or above trained. Programs include "Learn to Sail" and "Full Season Racing" in Optimist, Club 420, Ultimate 20, and ILCA boats.

Our Learn to Sail program is offered in full-day sessions (8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.) and is designed to introduce sailors to the fundamentals of sailing in a fun, supportive environment.
