High school students interested in film can gain practical experience with the Intro to Filmmaking program in Willimantic, CT. This day program focuses on STEM-related skills through hands-on work with university faculty, preparing participants for future academic pursuits. Designed to strengthen college applications, this program emphasizes academic exploration and college preparation in a small classroom environment. It operates Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Eastern’s campus. Funding from a generous grant covers all costs for participants, making this academic training accessible.
