About this camp
Hello! Literacy Camp offers a two-week full-day literacy program in Newark, DE. Led by certified reading interventionists specializing in the Orton-Gillingham approach and instructors from the University of Delaware’s English Language Institute, this program strengthens reading and writing foundations. Mornings focus on core literacy skills, including phonemic awareness, phonics, decoding, and comprehension. Afternoons build receptive and expressive language skills through interactive activities. An optional placement assessment in July helps tailor the program for individual participant needs, preparing them for the upcoming school year. This is a day program.
