The Vintage Gold Cup provides youth day sailing instruction in Richland, MI. This day camp focuses on fundamental sailing skills for young participants, including basic nomenclature, boat handling, and safety procedures. Daily on-the-water instruction covers essential maneuvers such as upwind, downwind, reaching, and docking. Beginner and Intermediate classes are offered, with hands-on learning for helming and crewing on a 420 dinghy. By the end of the program, participants will be proficient in independently rigging and de-rigging a sailing dinghy.
