About this class
Learn sailing at the Gorge Sailing Center in Hood River, OR. This program introduces participants to sailing fundamentals and helps experienced young sailors refine their techniques. Utilizing Optimist Dinghies, O'pen Skiffs, and Club 420s, the program provides appropriate vessels for all skill levels. Classes for ages 5-18 typically begin in the sheltered waters of the Hood River Marina. Advanced groups may venture onto the Columbia River when conditions permit. The Gorge Sailing Center focuses on practical sailing instruction and skill development.
