Students dive into film production at Film Program, an immersive overnight training in Upland, Indiana. This high-energy, fast-paced week guides participants from concept to a completed short film. Utilizing professional equipment, including a RED Weapon 8K camera and industry-standard editing software, participants gain hands-on experience in every stage of filmmaking. Working with local actors, students learn practical film production skills. The program culminates in a screening of their completed short film before an audience, providing a concrete demonstration of their acquired knowledge. This program focuses on practical application of film, arts, and media principles.
