About this camp
High school students interested in STEM can engage in a focused engineering program in La Mirada, CA. Participants design and construct functional automatons using industry-standard tools like SolidWorks. Prototyping is done with 3D printers and laser cutters, providing practical experience in advanced manufacturing techniques. This overnight program allows students to experience college life by residing in university residence halls. Instruction is provided by Biola engineering faculty, focusing on hands-on, college-level, project-based learning. The program emphasizes applying the engineering design process from initial concept to final completion, building practical skills and technical expertise.
