About this camp
Cottonwood Gulch Expeditions offers overnight summer programs for ages 8-18 in Albuquerque, NM. Our focus is on nature exploration through hiking and backpacking in the American Southwest. Students engage in experiential learning, using the natural environment as an outdoor classroom for science and cultural studies. Programs emphasize environmental education and place-based learning. Campers gain hands-on experience with the landscapes and ecosystems of New Mexico. This approach fosters a deeper understanding of the natural world and its importance.
