About this camp
High school students aged 16-18 can engage in hands-on, collaborative engineering projects at the Rutgers Summer Academies in New Brunswick, NJ. This STEM program offers direct instruction from Rutgers faculty, researchers, and student mentors, providing participants with insights into real-world engineering applications and career paths. Students explore lab experiments, technology demonstrations, and experience college life at a research university. The program culminates in a cardboard canoe race, reinforcing practical engineering principles and teamwork. Participants gain foundational knowledge across various engineering disciplines.
