About this camp
Established in 1924, Workcoeman provides year-round scouting programs in New Hartford, CT. This overnight training, one of the oldest continuously operated scouting facilities in the country, offers structured programs for Scouts BSA, Cub Scouts, and Venture Crews across its 427 acres on West Hill Pond. Participants engage in a range of outdoor and leadership development activities, including specific summer programs like Cub Scout Resident Camp, Mini Week, and Day programs. The program emphasizes scouting skills and nature immersion. Beyond summer, Workcoeman hosts short-term overnight and day training for individual scouts and units, supporting continued skill development and engagement with the outdoors.
