About this camp
This non-profit children's summer camp focuses on openness, hospitality, and compassionate Christianity. It provides space for children to be themselves, learn from others, and experience wonder and love. Campers are welcome regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or religious affiliation. Worship includes daily Morning Watch, Discovery Time, and Evening Vespers, centered on gratitude to God and the love of Jesus Christ. The camp emphasizes sustainable practices, with solar electric panels providing almost 75% of summer electricity and solar thermal panels for kitchen hot water. Composting toilets save over 250,000 gallons of water each summer, and food waste is composted for gardens. The kitchen prioritizes making food from scratch, ensuring it is whole and fresh, and operating sustainably. Campers are encouraged to try new foods and learn about sustainable practices, with fresh fruits and vegetables being a highlight. During the off-season, the facilities host on-site retreats for stewardship, relationships, youth ministry, and spirituality, and are available for private rentals.
